Greetings to you,

On behalf of the committee of Transform World: Indonesia 2005, scheduled 
for May 1 to 5, 2005, we would like to request your prayers for this 
event.  With this email, we would like to give a number of updates leading 
up to the event.

1. Christmas Celebration at Jakarta

On 25th December 2004, we had a Christmas Celebration in Jakarta with the 
theme of "Jesus Christ has come to bring Transformation".  This Christmas 
Celebration was attended by approximately 90,000 people and it was held at 
the Gelora Bung Karno (the venue that will be used for Prayer Celebration 
at Transform World: Indonesia 2005 on 5th May 2005).

Indonesia is experiencing the most exciting time in its Christian history. 
 This is the time where the Indonesian churches from different 
denominations join hands together toward transformation.

Hundreds of intergroup and interdenominational prayer movements, such as 
City Prayer Networks, Student Prayer Networks and others, have grown over 
the last few years.  We believe that this is the time where God will 
transform Indonesia.

2.  Tsunami Hits the Region

We believe that this devastating earthquake and tidal waves that followed 
it are a wake up call for the churches to rise up and to show compassion 
and the love of God to those who are affected.  We believe that this is 
the time for the believers to reach out to them.  For your information and 
prayer, Aceh is the hardest area in Indonesia in terms of spreading the 
Gospel.
